Once the oil gets out of the centrifugal separator it is ready for consumption.
The product contains solid suspended residues and appears murky. In the resting phase, the solid residue transfers onto the bottom of the container and oils spontaneously clarify.
Accordingly, the oil being separated is stored into steel containers and come into contact with nitrogen atmosphere to prevent oxidations. Here they take advantage of the spontaneous sedimentation of the sludge; the oil, ready for being marketed, instead undergoes filtration by means of Bari-like or press filters before the packaging phase.
